Remapping F1-15 Keys On Snow Leopard

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for setting, say, the Print Screen, Scroll Lock, and Pause buttons to do stuff like changing volume and muting on Snow Leopard?

Quicksilver can detect the keys as F13, F14, and F15 when pressing them to make hotkeys, but apparently when you press them they send "Print Screen" etc... commands instead.

I'm very interested in this as well! I would also like to know if you can get some f-keys to be play/pause, next track and previous track in iTunes.

I figured out how to do this, with ControllerMate. You can also do plenty more (like tweak the LED lights behaviour). You can also remap any key on the board to any other key. I remapped the Print Screen, etc keys to the system keys for Volume Down/Up, Mute. Fun times.

Check the pic for a sample of some logic I set up to make my LEDs do some fun stuff while typing (mainly, they flash when certain keys like the spacebar and return are hit, and they have an alternating blink while I hold down modifiers).
