Ducky gaming optimized keyboard

hmm i want to buy a ducky board that is gaming optmized.

wasd keys are mx black other keys are mx brown numberkeypad is mx blue :)
3 different kinds of switches also it is NKRO :)

should i :)?

or get a normal one full mx brown?

I will be getting 2 keyboards anyway if this makes any difference?
2nd one is a noppoo choc mini blue

I think a keyboard with a mix of different switches like that would be pretty weird to type on.

I actually would like a board with browns on the alphanumeric and blues on the tenkey pad.  But the blacks in WASD is just wacky.

From reading many other threads and reviews, the browns provide that "middle" point between gaming and typing. If you're just going to be gaming then consider blacks.

Did you even bother to read the OP?

this keyboard has 3 different switches
WASD keys have MX Black
all other have MX brown

Having a mix of keys in your qwerty cluster sounds interesting. You should get it and tell us how it is.

I always liked the 1087 that had browns in the qwerty cluster and blacks for the cursor keys.

I am getting the noppoo choc mini blue switch :)

but normal ducky or gaming optimized ducky?
the noppoo will be ofc for typing and the ducky general use, oh wait....
general use is 80% typing 20% gaming of the time i do something..

Did you even bother to read the replies? A mix of switches in the alphanumeric block would feel like **** to type on. He's suggesting that you should go with NOT a mix.

didn't brown game pretty well also?

i found a other one as same price as the gaming optimzed ducky but this one is smexy :)

dude didn't i clarify that i wont use the keyboard to type at all, since i will get 2 keyboards and one is a noppoo choc mini blue mx cherry and that ducky.

but since my plans are dead now i need to take the middle way and take a full mx brown cherry

otherwise they stole my idea! it would be really ****ty to type on though, and not everyone wants to switch between 2 keyboards all the time, especially if you play roleplaying games where u chat alot.

then when you replace it you goto bestbuy and see el cheapo for $20

Switching from an all Brown MX board to all Black MX board and back is weird enough, having them both in the same alpha key cluster is insane FOR TYPING and general use.  

If you use a dedicated gaming keyboard, that changes the rules of what could work for you.  If you don't use a dedicated gaming keyboard, having stiffer switches for WASD would get old before you could post a quick brown fox uber gaming nkro test.

[sarcasm] But I hear MX Reds or gold plated USB connectors are the best for gaming anyway.  Or is there a new flavor of the month out? [/end sarcasm]
