Cherry Brown for 102 bucks shipped? Mmmm, yes please. These guys are basically the only US retailer selling a new modern kb with browns. I'm holding off until Nextweekish to buy this so that if the Rosewill goes on sale on Friday/Monday I can buy that instead :P

Brown like poop.

That is going to annoy the **** out of me.

It's NKRO, it's mechanical, it's sexy, it's got browns. I'll post more pics here later. Consider this thread a placeholder for pictures and a review.

Nice choice man! I would of bought a Das if they provided a tenkeyless one. I don't use the numpad at home.

Trust me, if shipping wasn't OVER9000 and I read Chinese I would've gone with a Ducky.

good job.
because i got both refurbished unit from DAS, one is blue switches one is brown,
refurbished + student discount, ya cheap.
but. first cherry mx blue had key roll over issue, back space doesn't register sometimes.
and then i got cherry mx brown, refurbish from das, space bar, those big button squicky and loud.
returned both.
and now get brand new cherry mx brown from DAS,
since that day, i haven't have any issue with the brand new DAS yet.

Nice, I told a co worker about the student discount on Das. I didn't think it was that much though.

Yeah I wish they would get around to making a Das Tenkeyless. The "mohawk" of wasted space where they put their logo is also offensive to me :)

But you gotta give it to them for putting the right switches in, and selling them everywhere.

Alright, here's some new development. So I tried out my friend's keyboard (He's got a Filco with Browns) and WOW Browns are WAY too light for me. I started out on buckling springs and then went to ALPS so I've been raised on heavy keys... Rosewill it is then! (If I'm going to get Blues I don't want a Das, the design is stupid and there are cheaper. For Browns I was willing to overlook it but now I don't even want Browns so I no longer care about the Das)

i've been trying to get used to these browns and i'm still frustrated by the light springs and too-subtle feedback

What kind of student do you have to be to qualify for the discount? Does postgrad still qualify?

High school ID was fine, so postgrad should be fine too.

Strike them hard enough, and every switch will feel linear for you.
