I have noticed the typing sound of topre keyboard/hkkb from few videos is different.

Category A : Hard Woody Sound

They're all using same switches but what made the sound of them so different?I am so curious about it.Someone mind to clarify my humble question?Your Clarification will be appreciated.

Surface is one thing but construction is another.

HHKBs are smaller and do not have a metallic plate. While topre even tenkeyless is a good size bigger and does offer a metallic plate. Similar to cherry switches and how their tone changes with surface and material used to construct them.

Welcome to GeekHack! Like Arc'xer mentioned, the Realforce is of higher build quality and that changes the sound of the keys when pressed. Also, different Realforces sound different. The variable force sounds 'clackier' (in a good way) than the 55g board. I would suspect other variants sound different as well...
