Received order from Armygroup (Taiwan) [pics]
« on: Fri, 26 November 2010, 16:41:15 »
I just received my order from Armygroup of a Filco tenkeyless brown nkro and an otaku key set. It took 4 or 5 days to get from Taiwan to Texas. Here are some pictures of everything:

Album link: [Ignore the last two pictures, those are for sale now] CLICK HERE FOR PICTURES

Why did I get so many key pullers and keys? No idea.

No wrist pad, that was Pchome's thing. I don't know why I got so many keys. I see a gift note on my invoice. It's hard to understand what's going on because I don't read the language. Maybe they gave them to me because I live in Texas :P . But yes, the yellow keys are awesome!

So, unfortunately my cherry blue tenkeyless and other set of blank keys will be on the marketplace soon. Girlfriend is happy about that...

It's a joke. However, whenever I travel out of the country people love to find out you are from Texas.

If anyone is worried about their order being damaged, you shouldn't be. I'm not sure if you can tell how much bubble wrap they used, but it was a ton.

Did you try manually putting the tracking number in on the international post site? That is what I had to do in order to view tracking info.

there should be tracking number with EE*********TW
end with TW.
add in to the USPS tracking manually.

Checked it through usps:
Your item left TAIPEI INT AMF, TAIWAN on November 24, 2010.
Probably flying to us as I type this.

Funny thing is that the same thing happen with my filco and pchome. It said it was in customs and didn't update after that then just appeared at my door. I was like "eh?"

Mine left the 23rd, plus you're all the way in Florida. Forget about it and it'll get here faster :)

Yea hopefully they'd show up at my door on monday. Just means I gotta bring my filco home from work to put the keys in.

The yellows are very nice.

Hold on, so did you actually order a keypuller and extra caps and they gave you to many? Or are they all "free gifts"? I knew they gave you the yellow keys, but if they throw in a keypuller too then that's one heck of a gift package.

Yeah I'm not sure, that might be what the shipping actually cost them. If that is indeed the actual cost of shipping they charged me double that.

I'm pretty stoked - ordered a ducky with black on black keycaps for $3390 TWD (about $110 USD I think), arrived within 7 days to New Zealand for $10 shipping.

Came in a disturbingly large box thanks to the free light-up mousepad/usb hub that came with it, but the keyboard itself is the real deal!

I would recommend getting a friend who speaks mandarin to help out, just in case something does go awry!

Ha, I lied. It was from PCHome (was looking on Armygroup.com.tw as well). From memory PCHome was slightly cheaper thanks to the fact that Armygroup tacks on shipping *and* a percentage charge for PayPal OR credit card.

Here's a quick pic: http://twitpic.com/3b502y/full

Seriously good looking keyboard.

it's quite common for orb weavers to catch large prey including birds. However they usually have to wait for the birds or whatever to die from exhaustion before able to approach and feast on the succulent breast of the bird or whatever.

+1!

armygroup came through for me as well! My package arrived today.

I also got the same nice yellow WASD but I much prefer the blank look. Anyone want em'?

I just bought 3 filco blue tenkeyless and 1 brown tenkeyless from armygroup because pchome was all out of blue tenkeyless. Two of the blues are for me and a blue and brown for a friend. Here's hoping they pull through for me.

I just got my keycaps from them earlier today (I ordered them maybe a week and a half ago). Took some pics and put them on my blog.
