Yup, be prepared for it to go in the $300 neighborhood, the toll for that gate these days.

Shabby ones were selling for that, for quite a while a couple of years ago, during a price spike - the prices are a roller-coaster.
But they are down now!

I bought one of Cindy's New-In-Box SSKs a while back and over half of the rivets were broken. I had kept it on the shelf for several months without opening it debating whether to flip it for a profit, but eventually cracked it open and did a good full nut-and-bolt mod.
"The old Republican Party was a stool with three legs: social conservatism, economic conservatism and national security conservatism.
So too is the MAGA Republican Party. One of those legs is the nativist extremism of Stephen Miller. The second is the anti-government extremism of Russell Vought.
And the last is the open, flamboyant corruption of Donald Trump — a corruption that degrades a people’s faith in government and makes it all the easier to remake the state in the image of a single man.

This thread is from 2010

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
