XArmor promo codes
« on: Thu, 02 December 2010, 21:03:58 »
So in payment for doing product testing (as if that wasn't its own reward) and to boost sales, XArmor has given me some $25 promo codes. I can use them for myself, or friends or family... Or give them out over the forums. ;)

Well, aside from my cousin Paul I don't think anyone I know personally would be interested (maybe one guy in one of my classes... but classes are over and I don't know his phone #, so oh well). So I'm giving them out on the forums.

So, anyone wanting $25 off a U9BL, I'm giving away five codes here and now. Only enter if you have the $105 to buy the keyboard, these won't last forever anyway so no sense hanging onto it indefinitely.

Read this: Post a picture of your current daily driver. If I think you need an upgrade, you get a PM and a code.

Go!

Confirmed, these have no expiration date and can be used for any future product as well as the U9BL.

Phaedrus do you know if I could also use them when I buy from iOne in Europe?

They recently offered me a scorpius with GER layout, since the U9BL was pushed back further (~february '11) because they are .... wait for it .... updating the packaging

Anyway, I am still planning to buy the U9BL when it's released (actually did so since I read about it when i was searching for boards, just bought the Das now because it was available cheap from ebay, like it though) or maybe go for the Scorpius for christmas. But I defo would want GER layout (otherwise I would've bought it already), so if I had to order from US to use the promo code, it would make no sense for me.

/Edit

if you don't know, I could also ask iOne in Europe here, have a salesperson on standby for me ;)

oh man this is perfect for me. i've been saving up for a new keyboard for a couple months and i was torn because i couldn't find one that was exactly what i wanted:

mechanical switches
backlit (but not with a hideous font like Deck keyboards)
media keys

i've never even heard of xarmor before but they are EXACTLY what i want.

right now i'm using one of these:

from about 1998. the buttons stick or come up slowly or i have to press really hard to make some of them work. it's driving me crazy.

thanks so much!

This would be a perfect christmas gift for a friend who wants a backlit mechanical. I was going to buy him a Dell AT101W just to get him in the mechanical mindset more, but it would only get used until the U9BL with Cherry Browns comes out anyway...so this would be perfect.

His daily driver is a Saitek Eclipse

If it helps, here is my daily driver.

I have to have at least five interested people in order to give out five keys. ;) They don't stack, by the way.

Thanks for picking me, Phaedrus, I really appreciate it.  This might be a dumb question, but is there a particular store these codes need to be used at?

I believed it is just at their own online store. After you click add to cart there is a box on the right that says "Discount Code".

like I asked before (and didn't receive an answer):
Can I use them with iOne in Europe? Because the U9BL with GER layout has now been pushed back to January/February but is defnitely coming. And I will get me one but certainly wouldn't mind to get it at a discount.

So if it is possible to do so, I would really want one.
