Can membrane keys be made to go faster, feel different (looser)? What about cleaning or lubricating, any suggestions?

I switch back and forth from a Filco brown, RT-somethin ,and the Microsoft which is near impossible to find detailed , well spec-type information. So I know I can count on can count on my friends on Geekhack!
