That's my auction. I'm just testing the water.

I always put high res pictures in my auctions, but I'm 5000 miles away from the keyboard and had to use pictures from the person that I bought from.

It probably won't sell, but I am offering shipping to Japan ;)

It probably won't sell

Looks like it will, even if nobody outbids Laggy.  Any idea of the history of what past comparable keyboards have sold for?

For that sort of money, I'd be wanting one of the Maxiswitch ones, with a real IBM trackpoint and a silver-on-black IBM label.

$50! It was the deal of the century. I shared the deal here and Ripster and Webwit picked a few up too.

Best ones are the ones made by Maxiswitch or Lexmark - both of whom made White, Black and Industrial models. Unicomp made some industrial IBM ones (and white ones under their own brand) which used a lesser pointing stick.

Considering that I paid $20 on ebay to ship a full ATX tower computer halfway across the nation, does it really cost $15 in postage to send this keyboard?

I approximated the shipping, so it might be high or low. I plan on packing the hell out of it, so I imagine that it will be $15 give or take.

BTW I bought a full tower case and they shipped it for free!

It might cost more.  Model m's are heavy.  It's not about size.  It's about the weight

This went for $202.50 to a Geekhacker in Beijing. Somehow it was delivered in 6 days. Who knew that you could get delivery confirmation through USPS to China?

$58 from USA to China w/delivery confirmation. I was home for Christmas. I sent it as a gift with a value of $15, so it wasn't held up at customs apparently. I wouldn't normally have shipped there, but the buyer claimed to be a Geekhacker.

I'm now comfortable opening up Ebay sales to China & Japan. They're the big buyers apparently, and shipping has been no problem for the few that I've attempted. An MP3 player that I sent to Texas took the same amount of time as the M13 to China. I still won't ship to Europeans though. They're all a bunch of old-world scammers in my book ;)

Never thought about claiming to be a geekhacker so the seller open shipping to OZ.
but around $60 postage is too expensive to purchase any items unless valued over $200
