Also i am an addictive personality. I know that it was a mistake to register here because of a new hole thats gonna be created in my pocket. Looking forward to know everything on mechanicals. First 5 minutes here and i am starting to realize that steelseries 6gv2 is not the best thing that happened in my computer life the last 3 months.
Cheers!

Hi there welcome.

Yeah i too did not realize at first there existed a difference in keyboards e.g. rubberdome vs mechanical.

And the different mechanical switches.

But at least you have a reference point now with black cherry mx switches :}

I agree... This place get's expensive quick, after I pay for my next purchase I end up at around 300€ "wasted"... And I still got atleast two boards to go...

Not all of us are compulsively buying more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more. One thing that works well and lasts for 20 years is my philosophy.

I know I'm basically done. Finally picked up a standard layout Cherry brown board, and I can't say I am a fan of the switch. The few clears on the board are ok, but still too light.

I've definitely settled on BS and Topre switches, and will only buy new boards as needed, or for friends that need new keyboards.
