AFAIK Signature Plastics is the only modern outfit that insists Back Space is two words.

This was my intention. On keyboards from the good old times, it is usually BACK SPACE and not one word.

At least we know the godawful font they use now.  It's in the Key Reference Wiki.  Never heard of it and a search for a sample set was fruitless.

Round 4 needs to have a BACKDATASSUP key. If iMav's kids are helping to sort, he can tell them it's a Back Datas, sup key.

^^^ What should BACKDATASSUP be good for?

Quote from: BababooeyHTJ;359395
Yeah, they actually are a bit thicker than the rest of the keys. Its not really that noticeable though, imo.

I've told her to make them all the same, except where the text won't fit.

Good point.

What's going to happen with these reversed ones?

I actually like the disapproval guy to be the other way round.

I don't like the reinforcements of the clear keys.

Seems SP can't get ANYTHING right or the way it should be!

ps: Luckily, I gave my clears away.

Well, I assume it's even more noticable in real life than in the photo.

For the price we're paying, there really are a very disappointing number of errors :-(

I aggree.

If your are dissatisfied with your keys, you will get a replacement along with the keys from the next group buy.

- the UNIONJACK will be for free (was my fault)
- Look of disapproval looks OK. Don't see here a reason to complain.
- CAPS LOCK^-1 is not OK, I try to get a replacement as fast as possible!
- too large Text on BACK SPACE and CAPS LOCK is intolerable. There will be a replacement. If SP says no, there will be a replacement along with Round 4 keys.
- I will ask about the clear keys, but I'm afraid, these are not done with the same tools as the other keys, for some tehnical reason.

SP cannot say no to replacing at least those BACK SPACE and CAPS LOCK keys, due to the font!
(And of course the stepped CAPS).

I think: compile a full list of errors and present it to them, if we then back down and say that just those keys that are way off need replacing, they should be grateful!

Don't know what sort of plastics SP uses, but Lego clear items are reinforced due to the clear plastic not being as tough as the colored stuff.

If the LOD key was some abstract made up concept from us, perhaps, but it is a well established shape and character. It can't just arbitrarily be reversed. We sent them the proper graphic as well.

pretty disgusted at the shear amount of mistakes SP has made with this order.  Really though printing a key upside down and not even catching it?  I would be fired from my job for mistakes much less.  If they refuse to fix these errors I dont think I will be participating in the next round,  I refuse to give my money to a company like that (If they will not replace the mistakes).

I think the caps lock is the only egregious mistake.  Anyone who used or even looked at a few old keyboards would see that and say "Something is off about this."  So, for a company that makes keyboard keys to just print them upside down is pretty silly.

Yes, you get an email. Look at your final invoice, it should contain your invoice # and give you some idea of how long it will take your package to ship. Think 36 have shipped so far, i'm 190 or so which means it will be by the end of next week at the earliest for me, or maybe even 3 weeks.

Ok i was not entirely correct, the first orders that have shipped were simple orders to people in the US. So us international people with alot of stuff in our invoice might get served last regardless of invoice #. I'll just assume another 4 weeks for my own order and be pleasently surprised if they arrive sooner:p

Unless SP forgot to send some keys, the Moogle sets do not have a stepped caps lock...just the solid one.

Also, I cannot find another upside down stepped caps lock.  (although I have not done an exhaustive search of the collated standard sets).

There is no stepped Caps in the Moogle kit. The reason is that it is an add-on to fit old Cherry key caps on Ducky and Filco keyboards.

If you need a stepped caps along with it, you've got it alrady.

So if I'm not wrong if I received the *Shipping Notice* email from 7bit means that my Keys had already shipped to me?

There was some kind of miscommunication between Imav and 7bit.  So as of right now nobody knows whos keys have shipped and have not shipped.  I got my "shipped" notification last thursday but from what Imav said they still may not have been sent out yet.

I got notice of them being prepared to be shipped...

EDIT:
What ever does that mean, likely when they have stopped bathing in them ;D

7bit mentioned that Round 4 will start when Round 3 is complete.

My assumption is that means, when all shipments are out.
