Just bought my first ever mechanical from EK in November. It's been working like a champ ever since I got it a month ago...until now.
Went downstairs to grab some food, came back, and it's totally dead. Not receiving input, no caps-lock lights, no num-lock lights, nothing. Tried restarting, reset the PRAM (Using Mac OS X 10.6.4), tried it on another computer, nothing. Tried unplugging it for fifteen minutes, nothing.
So, while it wasn't DOA, it IS still under warranty...but EK just stopped dealing with Filcos, right? I just sent an email to EK support asking what my options are, but now I come to you, GeekHack.
Am I totally **** out of luck here? Is there something I could try, but haven't? What would you do in this situation? (I guess a lot of it is contingent on what my warranty/repair options are from Elite Keyboards...)
