Those goggles are such a boner kill... err I mean it looks like you barely have two seconds to swap the boards. Better have fast hands!

Footswitch is the norm for this kind of manually-operated machine. Along with emergency button.
Sometimes they even put two footswitches, which have to be pressed both.
