Now you just need to learn how to stop giving that backspace key such a workout!! :-p

So, is this the first NKRO USB keyboard in the wild? Finally! :-)

Does it work in BIOS?

Cant say for certain, but I had a HHKB Pro that I think had full NKRO.  I could hold down 12 keys at a time with them still being able to register.  This was the original HHKB Pro not the Pro2.  I never did run a "real" test however.
I like Topre!

Okay, so I ask again, what is a good way to get one?  Because I already really wanted one, and didn't even previously know it had USB NKRO.

I recently stopped using my HHKB due to accidental build cancelling in SC2 going too far (Esc is right next to 1) and this layout fixes that.  Still has Ctrl option, and has a number pad too... and Cherry Brown, just what I need.  Quality plastic.  This thing looks SO PERFECT.

Didn't realize these things were so cheap on Taobao.. Wouldn't be too bad w/ the agent fee I would think.

Are the keys lasered with pad printed fronts?

Well, World Wide Shopping recommends Obook as an agent, seems to be the route to go unless you have other connections.

I was just curious what fssbzz used.

I'll calm them down.

This has got to be one of the ugliest keyboards I've ever seen.  The keys are a combo of sewer water and Korean Kolor Koordination.

You sound like a Mac user. Screw aesthetics, it's small and uses Cherry switches, and somehow has magical USB NKRO.

If the build quality is decent, this may be the last keyboard I buy for a WHILE. (Until I eventually experience oneness with cup rubber).

I don't think I'm in a position to run out and buy one right now, but it is one I would like; the arrangement of the keys is acceptable, and so a modern miniature keyboard with tactile feel mechanical switches at a reasonable price is obviously worth getting.

Dunno, the layout reminds me of the Deck 82 which is aggressively ugly even with the lights off and has only Black switches. It makes this look like the one true HHKB alternative.

My only concern would be weight/solidness, cuz I would want one w/ blues and don't want it pinging and rattling all over the place.

Probably exactly the same way Microsoft did NKRO over USB.

No. It doesn't hit the same Windows bug as the X4, so it looks like they've implemented it better. X4 wasn't NKRO anyways.

Thought X4 was NKRO, but it would add keys (bug) past more than 11 keys? But it would still detect all the keys that were pressed.

They claimed something like 26 total keys at once, of which about 18 could be normal keys, IIRC. In other words, plenty, but not N :-)

The problem after 11 or so keys was found to be a bug in the Windows drivers, apparently MS are working on a fix...

Can you give an example of what errors you find yourself making going from your tenkeyless/fullsize boards to this?

Looking at the layout and its pretty close to standard.  Trying to see what might cause typing errors.

No, it looks like they programmed it differently. Probably the same way that hasu, I, and others have done it - with a bitfield for all keys. (There's only so many ways to do it).

Pretty insignificant I'd say.  Not that many people need more than 6 + 4 modifier Key Rollover anyway.

Sigh. We know. But 6 will never equal N, however insignificant you find it.
