Mouse Pad with hard surfaces
« on: Tue, 04 January 2011, 12:32:02 »
Hello I would like to buy any mouse pad with hard surface(plastic/poly/metal surfaces) within the $30 range, preferably a gaming pad such as Razer, SS ,qpad, etc..

I don't care if it's new/used, I will accept it as long as it isn't totally beat up.

CONUS only thanks!

I have the hard one of these. It's not as hard as metal or plastic, but it's harder than the squishy rubber ones from the 90s. I really like mine, and it was 20 dollars shipped from Japan.

I sort of did some first impressions within that thread. I'm thinking about doing a full review when I get some more experience with it.

The artisan pads seem to be getting a bit popular here's a review I found. And there's a video, not a review but someone using the pad, I believe the guy is considered to be one of the top player in Japan.

As for the ratzpad, well you can do better. They tend to eat mouse feet and the surface is disliked by many.

Also loved by many, I LOVE my ratpadz, but if you go that route, get the XT not the GS, it's well worth the extra, it's more durable, and the surface is also better.

While it may not look the greatest, a piece of corrugated cardboard can make an excellent mouse pad.
