Ancient boards or Signature Plastics.

Wait a second!

Are these caps really made by Signature Plastics???????????????

So they really make those keys with windows in them, like Cherry?

And even in SA-profile! I wonder which rows Mrs. Signature meant wehn she told me they can't do modifier keys for all rows. Except it has got those 1 1/2 modifier keys in the bottom row, everything is complete.
Buy key caps here: Round 5
Buy switches here: CherryMX

If you ever want to do a group buy on these, please consider dye sublimation and PBT.

Those ones from Signature Plastics look amazing.

I don't think they do dye sublimation though, do they? Thought they were all about the doubleshot.  I guess for blanks it would be nice to have whites so that you could dye them yourself, though.

If I got it right they can do dye sublimation, although it is not the most affordable option, at least not for small scale runs.

I still wait for a response from SP. I sent my request about SA-family for the 2nd time now.

Would be great to have these!!!

They are made by SP indeed. And they do make them with windows too. These keycaps are very cheap, since they are blank and flat/spherical, meaning all of them have the same profile, meaning you would get very high volume discounts for big orders. The lack of a different profile might be a problem for some, but so far the OTD guys have been loving them.

I remember visiting the Signature Plastics site twice. Once, I found the info on keycap types. The other time, everything about keycaps was gone from the site. I have to wonder if they don't want to be bothered by people like us...

Nope, actually quite the opposite. They moved all their keycap info to a dedicated stand-alone site:

Looks like their Novelty keys, just not doubleshot.

No, its nothing like it. These are extremely low profile.

Oh nice catch Ripster.  I donno if I'd be quite as interested in the SA, the DSA as sixty said would be the ones that are uniform and probably the cheapest.  The DSA are the ones in the pictures too, it seems, that I and guilleguillaume went :O over.

I haven't really typed on sphericals so right now I'm mostly just commenting on how I like the look of them, but if they're cheap enough I would love to try a set out, and then maybe they won't look quite so sexy after I know how I feel typing on them.

Those are indeed DSA. (I bought a bunch, blank white, for my contoured project.)

I'd go in for a couple sets of labelled SA if there were ever enough interest to make them affordable.
