Hey all!

Been lurking for a while now, learning all I can about mechanical keyboards and their differences.

Anyhow, spotted a 'board at GW today, and bought it. On the back sticker it reads:

BTC Professional Keyboard Series
Part No. BTC-5339
S/N 60910260
Made in Taiwan R.O.C.

It's heavy as hell. While I don't really care for the mushy feel of the keys, it's too nice to throw out. Super clean.

Anyone know anything about these boards? Worth keeping?

There is some info on this japanese page.
According to the info, it has a capacitative "foam and foil" switch, with either a coiled spring or rubber cup to provide resistance.
The foam tends to make these keyboards quite mushy...
One good thing about capacitative keyboards is that they often have N-key rollover, which is something that only very high-quality keyboards have these days.

Much demand for these? I'm hunting around for a board to mod, but I'm thinking it may not be worth it with this one. I really want Cherry switches.

If it's the kind of thing someone here might want, I could post it in the classifieds for trade?

If not, might as well start chopping it up and see what I end up with. I plan on grabbing a Teensy, and making a mini in the end.
