Donations for friend's ministry...
« on: Mon, 24 January 2011, 10:28:00 »
This is a simple request for donations for a friend of mine.  He is looking for some initial support to file his tax-exempt paperwork with the state of Texas.

If you don't agree with the tenants/beliefs of this endeavor, then simply ignore this thread.  However, if you are willing to help (even a little bit will help) you can find out more information here:

He has a background in AoG.  But this ministry is not tied to that church.

Ron (my friend who is spearheading this ministry) has just completed a book called "Finding the End of the Age" which is excellent. One of the arms of this ministry is to encourage and provide resources for Biblical study...not adhering to any church's specific doctrine, but digging into the scripture, looking at translation notes, referencing original texts when possible, etc.

In the spirit of full disclosure...I am a member of the board for this ministry and fully support the work being done.

Ah, even better. I really don't support any particular denomination myself; I'm more or less in the same position your friend appears to be.

I'll donate a few bucks.

Non-denomination is the best denomination.

And trolling begins.  I'd hate to see hard core trolling on this one.  Especially since it's a request to ignore.

That's just my sense of humor. Hopefully you'll get used to it. Even the Germans have!

Edit: no offense was intended regarding the ministry mentioned here.

That's possibly the worst thing you do.

The book referenced earlier in this thread is now publicly available for sale (~$19 from Amazon).
