I've only recently been introduced to the world of mechanical keyboards and after a lot of research I was able to settle on a Filco Majestouch with brown switches from KeyboardCo. I have now used that keyboard at home for a week and I've been absolutely blown away by how good it is in comparison to any and all keyboards I've used in the past. In fact, I like it so much that now using the rubberdome Levonos we have at work feels really weird and kind of "mushy", so I have been giving the idea of buying my own keyboard for work some consideration.
I've noticed today that the Topre Realforce 105UFB is now available in Finland directly from the biggest finnish online hardware reseller (verkkokauppa.com) and I remember reading a lot of comments regarding how Topre keyboards are supposedly very very good. However I attibute me liking my Filco with browns to the fact that I was able to find very good verbal descriptions of how each different "main" switch types (black, brown, blue) feels to type on and to play games with, so I made the 100% perfect guess that browns would suit me well without having actually tried it before purchase. My problem is that I can't seem to find any good verbal descriptions on how the Topres feel like and I really don't think that spending 170 euro on a keyboard I don't have a precise understanding of is a particularly bright idea. Can anyone point me in the right direction or describe in words how the Topre Realforce 105UFB compares to a Filco Majestouch with browns?
