Looks like some sort of POS keyboard.

I know POS stands for point of sale or something but I can't help but read it as piece of sh!t some times when I look at the state the keyboard's in.

Look at the bottom of the keyboard (below the spacebar). It's lavender (as well as the mouse buttons).

These are used in many IBM POS systems (take a peek at the POS systems at bestbuy or futureshop).
They're rubber dome, standard, and yes, the lavender buttons encapsulate the trackpoint.
