info i got.
simple translation:

2 different series.
1 and 9.
10XX series = entry level
90XX series = High end keyboard
10XX series is the entry-level keyboard with detachable USB, NKRO for their special features.
10XX are design without those special media features like the one on 90XX (volume up, volume down, forward, rewind, play and etc)
Most of all the 10XX series Ducky's key cap are ABS.

90XX series had 2 different one. 9000 and 9008
9000 = 104 key
9008 = 108 key
90XX series are mostly high end Keyboard.
The first Special Edition Year of the Ox are made with Black ABS Cap
Second version are PBT / ABS Cap. and Tiger version are PBT caps.
9008, commonly known as 108 key keyboard, and it is high end keyboard listed in Ducky.

my own opinion.
1087 = 87 key [tenkeyless.]
1008 = 108 key
9000 = 104 key high end
9008 = 108 key high end

so there might be 9087 as Ducky 87 key tenkeyless high end keyboard or 1087G2 as the new Ducky 87 key tenkeyless entry level keyboard.
hope fully added with some features, better build quality, and NKRO over USB.
sorry to MAC user. lol

What is this about codes? You're speculating on upcoming models?

Speculating about current and future product numbers/names. I have to agree with fssbzz. The 10xx does seem like an entry level series, and the 90xx seems like an enthusiast/professional series.
