is this the wiki leaks coup? or is that tunsinia?
is this the one were eqypt shut down the internet too?

Wiki leaks was Tunisia due to their leaders spending. Egypt just don't like their current leader.

Ultimately though, I don't really care. The middle east is a **** hole and should be sacked all over again like when Hulagu Khan rode through.

My understanding is that the unrest erupted in Egypt when Tunisia showed it could be done. And, yes, Egypt's government shut down Internet access in the country, except for the stock exchange, and international cables passing through.

The funniest thing is everyone in Egypt rioting and protesting for more freedoms etcetera. Then you'll have a group like the Muslim brotherhood slip in when they oust the first guy and it's Burkas and beatings for all. It's like Iran 1979 in reverse. We have freedom and liberty for all. REVOLUTION! Well ****...

Moral of the story is, you can't please everyone. Especially not Muslims.

Ah ok, cool seeing 2 revolts in a week period got me confused. I was like I thought it was tunsinia that revolted or was that Egypt, turns out it's both.

There is of course a danger of that. However according to one report I've seen, people chanting religious slogans during the protests were shouted down - the protests appear to be secular rather than religious.

But it is true that a recent archeological discovery has finally linked Egyptian hieroglyphics to the Phoenician script, ancestor not only to the Hebrew and Arabic scripts, but also to the Greek, Cyrillic, Armenian, and Latin scripts on the one hand, and the scripts of the big Devanagari family on the other - including the Tibetan and Thai scripts, for example, among others outside India.
