Shipping refunds?
« on: Tue, 01 February 2011, 23:50:50 »
Alright, well my Realforce 103UB that i bought from Nocturn4l3030 a little while ago was supposed to be here saturday and i am getting a bit angry because it still has not arrived!

How do i get a shipping refund?  i paid extra for faster shipping and today was the day the normal shipping would have got here and it still is not here amazingly.  Should i just take it to the nearest USPS store and request a refund?

You can communicate with the seller first to get all necessary information about your package, then bring the information over to a UPS executive to seek help.

If you have paid extra to get the package over to you faster and the seller has sent it under the agreed shipment option, then UPS is responsible for the delay.

if you check the shipment's history w/ tracking info, does it say if it's in transit, does it specify when it left/departed such and such facility? if it does the good news is that you will eventually receive it. if it doesn't, then file a claim. hopefully it is insured.

I got two package on the way from two different sellers and they have been both delayed 1 day behind schedule delivery.(FedEx and UPS respectively),

UPS for me has always been on time so i'm guessing it's the weather, in fact, I was just at the post office on Monday to ship a package to Canada and told that expect 1~2 days of delay because of the snowstorms we've been getting here.

I don't think USPS Priority Mail is guaranteed--meaning they won't refund for an extra day if the post office screws up.

I don't think 2,000 miles of snow can be called a post office screw up.

This.  They say "usually 2 days," but it can take longer.

Agreed. All bets are off when travel is hazardous. Getting your keyboard on time is not worth someone risking their life.

USPS Priority Mail isn't a guaranteed time delivery method, so they're going to tell you to suck it unfortunately. They only provide "typical" delivery times for it.
