So it's like an industrial M except it's for a G80.

Cool. And the font's the exact same one on the double shots.

These are better than double shot btw. They won't go shiny and they will not yellow. Superior in any way. Koreans know why they pay $100 for these!

The boards are Cherry MY switches and have a terrible feel to them. However, the keycaps are the highest quality keycaps Cherry ever produced, using the dye sublimation technique. These were only available from 1989 to 1993, or something like that.

The keycaps are 100% MX compatible.

These boards are a steal, and usually go for much more with Asian collectors.

It doesn't have the nice textures Sixty's collection has.

I got one of the ones from the auction and the seller just sent me an email saying that he does not have enough and I can have one of these.
NCR 3299-k440-v001 , 3299-k440-v003 , 3299-k440-v004
Are these as good key wise?

Actually the guy has only one negative feedback, which  may as well be left by an idiot if you read the auction and the rating. It just looks "sucky" because eBay introduced the silly percentage rating. There are so many power sellers with 10 negative feedbacks daily that manage to stay above 99% due to just having many thousands of auctions each month.

This guy seems fine to me, I guess.

3099-K440-V004

this is dye subbed but it is rubber dome. so be careful not to tell him you want that. The stem isn't cherry mx compatible.

For those who managed to get the 101 beige/white dye sub key set; please consider getting a patch kit for it.

The patch will be double shots with matching beige/white color scheme.

Mine just came in about an hour ago. The case has a little chipped piece on the lower left corner. Not a biggie though since I really bought it for the caps and showing love to MY switches. Typing on it now and it kinda reminds me of a rubber dome with a lot more force. Key caps are in great condition!

Took some quick ones.

Curved F and J!

In typing on them some more, I realize you don't have to apply as much force as MX browns or blues.

Sixty's doubleshot white/beige also has  curved F and J.

Seems my order for the v001 went through, so i'm getting one white/beige kit for both my DS and the new dye subs once they get here :}

Oh yeah, someone previously said that the keys on Cherry MY boards may fit a bit loosely on an Cherry Mx. Do you have a cherry mx board to try it on ?

I think sixty's was kinda like that too, but after installing, then turning my keyboard upside down and give it a few dozen shakes, none of the keys flew off.

So i'm guessing nothing to worry here.

I'd also be interested to know your take on the casing compared to say more modern G80-3000 series.

I got mine today and I am very happy with them especially for the price. Unfortunetly one of the keys broke off and part of the switch is stuck in the key. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it out?
