It certainly wouldn't hurt.  I know I would buy more stuff if it were more easily purchased in the US.

PChome has some nice PBT ducky keycaps for USD$50, with the $10 shipping promo it's a pretty good deal.

I don't really want to wrestle myself through Google translated Chinese/Taiwanese pages :)

I ordered those Ducky PBT keycaps from PCHome along with a Ducky DK1087 board.  I'll post pics and info/review once I receive them.

Sometimes when someone harvests them, or when one of the few new black sets appears again. A year ago some Chinese company ordered a bunch of black double shot ABS keycaps, as well as some white blank pbt and black blank pom keycaps from Cherry, when they still offered custom orders.

Sometimes these still appear. Usually for $60ish.

We need an Asian member to organize a group buy for those. Only $50 USD per set.

Frankly, I'm not letting DealExtreme see another chon of my money until I see some improvements:

* I bought some anime figures, knowing they'd be crappy bootlegs, but even by crappy bootleg standards, they sucked.

* I bought a $140 Android tablet recently; I ordered it, I think 29 December 2010, and it took til like 5th February to arrive.  Fine.  I can probably blame some of it on the USPS, as the China Post website (some of their stuff ships from .hk, some from .cn) said they had done their part.

When it did arrive, the screen started malfunctioning after like 3 days, and it seemed awfully crash-prone considering the relatively weak demands I placed on it.

I'm still waiting to hear from their RMA department.

Exactly how long is that an excuse?  I figured "maybe it's slow in January for the build-up, but will it last many weeks into February?'

The Chinese new year celebrations last maybe a week and a half before the day and a week and a half after. Still no excuse for the shipping to take that long. They should have left China at the most a week after ordering.

I ordered something from Taobao like a week ago and it came today, via EMS. I couldn't believe it, what with the new year celebrations and all.

EMS is Japanese, I believe. And the big movement in China is the factory workers going back to their towns. Seeing as your dealer was probably not working in a factory and a native of the city, he probably didn't go very far :p
