It is probably the input lag of the monitor.

I'm currently using the 6Gv2 aswell, via the PS/2 interface. Can't say that I experience any input lag from it at all, as previously mentioned it's probably due to your monitor.

PS/2 = Hardware Interrupt Request whenever a switch is activated .
USB = Polling of the USB-stack, at predetirmed intervals, for key-activation.
Some people do notice the subtle difference, most don't !

Enabling v-sync can also cause input lag.

PS2 is recommended because of the full n key roll over.

Wait until you try USB 3.0!  The Blue connector on my now fully operational SandyBridge/Corsair Graphite 600T combo.

does the 6gv2 have gold-plated USB connector? that might be the problem.

I have the same case, stupid motherboard designers didn't include a internal USB port, so in most cases you have to ghetto rig the front USB wire to the back!!

But on a more serious note, my SSD keeps randomly freezing. (The HDD LED stays on and computer hangs) :( Crucial and ASUS are replacing my SSD and MoBo respectively. If this doesn't work, we're gonna need that mob picture, for Intel!! Damn Sandy Bridge!!

This, I used an HP LP2465 which has an S-PVA panel and it had horrific input lag.

I have my 6Gv2 hooked into a USB switch (not a KVM/hub), and then into my comp.  There is no noticeable delay even with the extra step, and I've been using this 'board for 3 weeks now.
Boldly going forward, \'cause I can\'t find reverse!
