Looking for Topre Realforce
« on: Mon, 28 February 2011, 20:54:10 »
I'm looking for a Topre Realforce keyboard with uniform weighting that has white/gray keys in US layout and a numpad. Actually any color will do as long as the keys and the lettering are different colors. Unfortunately elitekeyboards.com only has this in black. Is there a Realforce model that meets these criteria, and where can I buy it?

Ohhh. My bad.

Edit: I am under the impression that such a model does not exist (at least not in US ANSI layout). Good luck though :\

Benippon has several uniform models with very visible lettering, but the layouts are all Japanese.

You might have to order from one of the Japanese online stores.
I also wanted a RF board with printed letters and uniform weight. Couldn't find it in the US and ended up getting the black one from EK.
I love it, my wife dislikes it whenever she uses my PC. She says if she has to type with one hand while talking on the phone it's annoying on a semi-blank keyboard, even for an excellent touch typist such as herself.

Just get the weighted one. I was sceptical at first too, but it's great actually.

This is your chance to get one of those uniform weighted in white.

However these are tenkeyless, but there is a slight chance that those will have the embedded virtual numpad by activating the num lock key.
Unfortunately Bruce haven't confirmed it yet.

Since I don't think I'll ever find what I'm looking for, now I'm looking for a Realforce that:

-is uniformly weighted

AND

-is tenkeyless OR not black

I already have a black uniform 55g Realforce (SE02C0), so I'm looking for another uniform weighted one that's not the same as the SE02C0. Where can I buy something like this?

Topre - 86U   |   Filco - Tenkeyless Linear Red
Filco - Tenkeyless Blue       |   Filco - Fullsize Non NKRO Blue (Work)

Cool, are there any guides on how to order from Leopold? Curse the text as images, makes using Google translate difficult :(
