Deskmount for 3 monitors vs. Full Desk Cart with 3 Monitors

That is what I want.   But to be frank its sort of a comprimise as my mom is insisting her new hubby give me his glass desk.  If someone can testify to the greatness of one of the whole cart-type ergotron stands are for working on I would owe them a great deal of gratitude.

I like the idea of being able to stand as I waste a lot of time at my computer so I want my time to be wasted optimally and also allowing me to adjust my time wasting to adjust to the different angles as I am beginning to get nerd back.

Also anything cheaper and with equivilent quality would also rock.


I have a 24 inch main monitor and 2 15 inch monitors.  o_o

edit:  Just learned my GTS 450 can only support 2 monitors (sigh), can I sli connect it with my extra GTX 460?  Must go get new motherboard...

i wall mount 2 ergotron monitor arms and 1 ergotron keyboard arm, have had this setup for a year or 2, it's pretty awesome.
I guess if i wanted to, i could easily raise up the keyboard tray and monitors to standing height, but my chair is pretty awesome, so sorry can't help you there, just saying that i wouldn't trust anything else but ergotron, oh and to illustrate it, the monitor arms are above my head when i sleep, and i don't worry about dying to monitor death.

Holy crap, $300! Dude just pick up a mount or two from monoprice for a fraction of the price. You would need a second GTS450 for sli. With Nvidia you need two of the same card for sli.
