New boards with MX Clears?

The ID codes on cherry boards are so random, the info in dating cherry keyboards doesn't always hold true. Cherry pretty much labels things whatever they feel like. You would probably have to buy it to find out, or ask the seller to pop a keycap and check.

Q indicates browns.
I am searching for a used LQCDE with a reasoneable price for a long time...

I have to disagree, I just received my g80-3000 LQCDE-2 yesterday, which I bought in Germany and it has the Cherry Clears on it. I was hoping they would come with the Browns but they did not. It is my first Mechanical KB and so far it seemed a little stiff but I enjoyed it, and it sounds really good also.

@sinis: "Soft-Druckpunkt" is the German description for clear switches. "Klick-Druckpunkt" are Blues, and "Lineare Betätigung" are Blacks. Browns would be "Ergonomischer Druckpunkt" but there are no Cherry keyboards using browns which are being sold in Germany. Browns are available for purchase in America and Asia, but not in Germany.

I'm guessing now, but I feel, like Cherry sells the Browns in place of the Clears outside of Europe, so they might both share the letter "Q"

The cherry POS keyboards aren't that bad looking. I like the G80-8200 it just looks a little cluttered.

If you live in AZ you can try my keyboards. I usually keep plenty of different ALPS and MX and buckling springs.

pretty much this. So if you buy a LQCDE in germany, it is MXclears.

"Druck" means something like "pressure" and "Punkt" (which isn't related to Punk at all, and not even sounds like it) means "point". So this refers to the "tactile bump" of the switch.

I know this is an ancient thread but I thought adding this pdf link would help will all the model numbers/options.  And the pdf is in English for the non German speakers
