Could someone please identify this keyboard located in the middle please. It is on a auction site and they do not wish to answer my question concerning the IBM keyboard.




Known Info from seller-

PCDirect - Big plug
IBM - Small plug
Compaq - Small plug

Looks like a KB-8923 or somesuch. Rubber dome in any case. The one on top may be a mechanical though, looks like a Chicony KB-5191.
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D

just looking at it i don't think it's mechanical, but if the seller wants to sell it he'll give you a pic if you ask for it.

the top one might be, as for the middle one if the seller doesn't want to give you the information you ask for then don't buy

It certainly looks like a Chicony-OEM-ed rubber dome, but it has a 101-key ANSI layout. The 8923 uses the 104 ANSI layout.

An early Chicony rubber dome then?
