Peak forces up to about 80 cN or so have been sighted in the wild. That would be considered stiff on any regular keyswitch, but here the low travel means that actual work is kept down. Integrals FTW.

Things to criticize about scissor switches (actually a misnomer for a short-travel rubber dome with keycap stabilizer)? A bit of a hard landing there, and the scissor mechanism does not appreciate a lot of dirt before going on strike. I've been typing on those chiclet guys for at least 2-3 years now. After getting my Filco Brown my fingers noticeably hurt when I type on my work keyboard. That Leopold Blue can't come soon enough. I'm seriously considering lugging my Filco to/from work each day it bothers me so much.
