I just received my Cherry blue Noppoo today.

Do the MX blue switches have a bit of a 'catch' on the way up? That is, just before they fully pop up they seem to be stopped by something, leading do a bit of an upward bump as well. Looking at ripster's posts and the animation, I am inclined to think this is intended but just wanted to make sure.

Also, 10 or more years of typing have apparently taught me not to bottom out at all. Feels nice.

I noticed that when I have to press backspace multiple times, it's easier to let the key go up halfway and simply actuate it again - e.g. activate the key *before* it recovers the clicky portion of the mechanism.

killy: you're correct on the upward tactility. In fact, I find that little tactile "ceiling" to be very useful when feeling out where I can hover the key to keep actuating it in rapid succession.

Once you learn how not to bottom up on blue/brown, your typing speed will increase by 5-10wpm. Your fingers will be less tired too.

Congrats on the wonderful keyboard. I really find typing on blues to be an absolute joy. So far I haven't tried any switch that would feel better for typing. I wonder if I've found my ultimate switch.

It's definitely different compared to my old keytronic. I like how you can actuate and not actually go over the entire travel length of the key at the same time.

I love my Blues for gaming, general purpose, whatever. They feel great, they sound great...it just makes keyboard use all the more satisfying and even addicting for me across the boards.

What a night and day jump vs. the MS Natural 4000 I was using before. I couldn't go back if I tried.

At first gaming was a bit disconcerting, as I would sometimes re-actuate a key without letting it bounce past the clicky point. All in all though, I did not notice anything severely detrimental to my game play.
