It's on travel channel multiple times a day, I think its in season6 by now so he has gone to a crapton of differant locations.  It's mainly a travel/food show with a weird sense of humor and angle.

That's the thing that is so disingenuous about no reservations, he just goes where ever and says, "oh this is great food"!!! wtf 100% where he goes there is good food? you know some concoctions are unholy.

He's not even a good or interesting judge on top chef, he's a judge now but he's just like simon cowl, says stuff for effect.

I like gordon ramsey more, which is alot considering I dropped 400$ for me and my fiance a month ago at a ramsey restaurant in ny and it sucked, at most 3/5, not his fault tho, i got a tour of the kitchen it's being run by like thugs and criminals.

Bourdain isn't really a chef, he hasnt been since he wrote his book 10 years ago and he has no $400 a dinner restaurants so not really sure why you are comparing him with Gordon Ramsey and talking about saying stuff for effect and then you bring up Gordon Ramsey - LOL????  I have no problem at all with Gordon, he is obviously a very good chef I just dont get the comparison.  To each his own I guess.

The show is about WAY more then food if you have actually watched it, its been nominated for outstanding non-fiction series multiple times and has won multiple cinematography emmys

i bought tickets to a speaking engagement he had at a theatre for some foodie friends who also went with me to the gordon restaurant that same month, so for me it was a two celebrity chef month.

and who says you have to watch it late?  Its online somewhere the second after it airs...

(and you shoulda seen my face when they killed off Rita....) Of course, only in America can they make the psychotic serial killer the good guy.

Cable is one of things I don't actually miss being able to afford.  I get to watch all the same stuff when I want to (and with no commercials).  I've had Netflix ever since I found out about the online streaming.  Don't even use the DVD part, really.  I've had the last two out for about 6 months now...

they prolly killed her off cuz her character was getting annoying and didn't know how to write in a wife script. Then she prolly got that no ordinary family offer or something and she had to be killed off. No ordinary family is being cancelled btw, i never watched it, but since heroes past season 1 sucked every kind of everything i gave up on super hero/ sci fi on tv ever again.

"Only in America"... what a weird expression.
I think it has more to do with the times. You couldn't do a serial killer hero back in the '80s.

Another way you could look at it, is that the show isn't really about good guys vs. bad guys.
The story is told from Dexter's perspective ... and no person sees himself as the bad guy. Even the coldest, hardest criminal believes in having the right to do what he does.
