Repairing the Das Keyboard Mk.1
« on: Wed, 23 March 2011, 16:21:08 »
Looking for a new USB cable for an old Das Keyboard.  Plug is shot, but due to the strain-protection design and the plug on the USB cable, what would be an easy solder job has become a far easier part swap.

If I could find the part.

Anybody know where to get a drop-in replacement USB cord?

This board was a Key Tronic OEM job, similar to E3600U2. Thus I'd guess worst-case cost would be the 20 bucks for a new one of these.
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D
