I might be getting a tenkeyless with blue cherries to end my short-term addiction. I was wondering which one would be better?

Leopold of elitekeyboards for $99(+shipping?) or the
Filco tenkeyless of amazon for $139 shipped

Never tried the Leopold, but I can vouch for the build quality of the Filco. The leopold is fairly similar from all accounts so it might be worth purchasing instead.

Either way the price difference won't be that huge when you factor in the shipping costs so I wouldn't worry about it too much!

According to iMav, the only notable difference is the detachable USB cable, at least that's what I gathered.
Also the design; I prefer the Filco over the rounder Leopold.

Why not wait and see?  It's hard to comment on the Leopold when only a handful of people have it.  But $40 is quite a difference.

Any day now.

Shipping is $12.50, so it's actually only around a $27.50 difference. But I agree with you regardless.
I\'m a tool.

Do you want a fixed or removable USB cable.  Answer that question and you'll have your answer.  ;)

I am using a Filco brown and I am quite happy with its build. The only thing I can complain is that the keys (especially Space) have become shiny after 2 weeks of use, so people with oily hands should wash hands more often when typing with Filco keyboards.

Anyway, I don't look at the keyboards while typing, so that is minor matter. You can always replace keycaps as you like. With a price, however.

If you're considering to change the stock keycaps, note that the Leopold spacebars are not yet available..

the keycaps are thicker and are lasered on the leopold. So from the acoustic and the keycap quality aspects, I may like leopold better.
