They've been talking about doing that for a long time.   There was something about it on Engadget or Gizmodo or one of those today.

If I had an old C64 I might try to stuff an ITX board into it myself.

My girlfriend has an old IBM laptop (Circa 1998).  I think it may be thick enough for an ITX mod if I use a low profile cooler.

Back to the OP: Looking at their news section, this idea has been in the works for quite a while. The C64 board looks like a cool novelty.  I want to know more about how the board is constructed, though.

As far as the rest of the site goes:
In the Amiga X000 series they make reference to the cases fitting a digital toaster card... haven't heard of those in quite a while.

Also, their future product section looks very interesting.  They may be able to find a very promising niche in the thin client market if they could get some of those all-in-one boards in to call centers.

The barebones ITX case doesn't have the internals so no need to hack it, unless you need ventilation for something more beefy than an Intel Atom. $250 is not too bad, if the case is solid and the board is well vented. Would make a good portable system, but it's probably too tall without a tall wrist rest/low table for normal usage.

Now if only they made one of these in an original Atari 800 case.  :(

The earliest Atari 800's had a very nice keyboard.  I wonder whose keys they used...

DO WANT

I like their keyboard + touchpad in the Future Models section. The styling of all of these is so retro-sexy!

Round 4 needs a set of these caps!  We already have the svg for the commodore key.  And yes, I would buy them in Brown!

The keys are very wrong.  Not nearly as deeply cupped, the arrows are wrong style, and I think they could have done a smaller lock key and used the old runstop key's location as esc.
