You do realize you could have just gone free range/humane kill rather than full on vegan, right?
Of course, it makes sense, and I think it is a very good thing.
I'm not a strict, or a rigid person with a weird long rasta hair.
Technically, I do not consider myself a vegan like some kind of a cult member,
I just avoid diary and meat in my diet, because I enjoy the healthy effects of
this life style, and the taste of my smoothies, nuts, tempeh, spinach, quinoa, etc.
Also at the same time I like the fact, that I do not have to exploit the animals.
However, as an adult athlete I refuse to consume milk. It is counterproductive in my experience, and I think milk is intended for little babies, and I neither feel the urge to eat eggs.
Yes, I not refuse to lick an ice cream occasionally, or eat some turkey as a guest.
Also note, that I do not want to force my choice on others.
Also, how exactly are eggs and milk products exploitative and suffering inducing?
I'm not into this Peta thing, and I even support small-scale farming, but you can read
this just to get an idea.
