Found this on ebay. Too expensive for me, but nice to see some of these still around in new condition.

Yeah that's nuts. Although they were almost $200 new IIRC. But maybe if they last 14 years..

Yes it is quite rare to find one boxed but these have nowhere near the same following as the model m or model m space savers..

I bought a BNIB Apple M0116 a couple of weeks for less than 60 GBP..

It will be a disparate collector who pays that much!!

AAK?

I think it's really stupid when they go BNIB! I totally OPENED IT!

Yes, that prcing is absurd...and/or a joke.

I recently picked up a pair of these keyboards, with cables for them from a local electronics surplus shop, both M3501 family, M0312 type, and in good shape, clean...for $15.00 Cdn. the pair (cables included in that price)..

There were still another 5-6 in the shop, as of a week or two ago, looking for a good home.

Sure, but if the point is to have that trapped air and the fact that the board has never seen daylight, could very well be a draw for some people that then just keep them that way. Having it opened and checked just ruined the entire point for those types, as technically, when it was tested it is now used.

I can see leaving testing up to the buyer and just taking pics of the box for the actual auction, but I've only seen one IBM space saver go like that and nothing else.

That's more like it.. If only I didn't have 5 of the damn things already.

I think I still kind of want this one though.. Watch list. Done.

EDIT: In fact I change my mind. Do want.
