Filco key cap puller vs. OEM
« on: Thu, 14 April 2011, 12:35:15 »
You can all breath a sigh of relief.  The design of the filco key cap puller (top) WILL allow you to pull your triple keys!  Not so with just any OEM puller (bottom).  Photo courtesy of filcochina.com.

Bravo, Filco.

I did notice that the other day comparing the Filco one and EK generic one, didn't realize it's a major plus!

Hahah. I do have to say that the lightness of the wires in the Filco one makes me a lot less nervous about scratching my keys but it's not different enough that I'd go out of my way to buy it if I already had the EK one.

I just got done pulling all the keys on my board without a key puller, and now that I'm done I really wish I had bought one.  That was a ton of work, and that keypuller looks like it would have made things just a bit easier.

Yeah, I got one with my order of my Filco and really is nice and loose; much easier to handle than the two bent paper clips I used on my DT-35 hahaha.
