Buying keyboard on taobao.com
« on: Sun, 17 April 2011, 22:20:28 »
This may be an off topic in other forum sections, so I will try here :)

I am about to buy some some keycaps on taobao.com via obook.  I know it is a recommended shopping agent here.  I also found 2 other agents, taobaofucus.com and taobaoenglish.com.  The charge a lower commision and have more functional web sites :).  I am wondering if anyone here has experience with these two other agents before.

Thanks.

I have only personally used obook. They were great, aside from the fees.

They should have something like this for Canadians buying stuff from USA. Ugh! (sarcasm)

The fees would probably be higher. (They'd need toboggans and sled dogs).

I'm sure Michael will help to get the keycaps for you.
He charges 5% of the item cost as commission, though commission must be a minimum of $5.

Thanks RiGS.  Michael sounds like a decent agent with very low commission fee.  I couldn't wait and went with obook.  So far the experience is good.  Very active communication over email.  But they charge 25% commission.
