Alienware System - Core i7 920 + Radeon 5970

I hate eBay, so I really don't want to sell this on there, so I thought I'd just take a long shot here.

Alienware Aurora System
Core i7 920 - Stock at 2.66ghz, safely overclocks to ~3.8ghz or higher.
Water cooling for CPU
AMD Radeon 5970
9 GB  of RAM
1 TB 7200rpm HD
DVD R/W drive
Lunar Shadow color

Very nice system and I believe it came with a 1 year warranty, which means it should have about 8 months left on it.

Video of it, so you can see what it looks like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5pDGHVHPCM&playnext=1&list=PL004BF0A4A222B67E

There are a few minor scuffs / scratches that aren't very noticeable.

I would like to get $1,300.00 + shipping. You could probably do better than that by building this system on newegg, but you'd have to assemble it, wouldn't have a warranty and this thing really does have quality components. I usually build my own systems and this thing surprised me with the build quality and reliability.

I will entertain offers, if you'd like to make one.

I have to dispute the 'wouldn't have a warranty'. The whole computer wouldn't, but the parts would and they would be longer. Just sayin'

Yeah that's true, I've just found it a lot easier to have the whole system warrantied. Dealing with several different manufacturers and newegg hasn't been a great experience for me, in the past, with regards to warranties and so on.

Also of note, is that with Alienware, you don't deal with the regular Dell customer support staff, they have their own division which is MUCH better in my experience.

Interesting, I thought that it had fully become just dell stuff by now. I didn't know that they still did that.

Do you know if the mobo+power supply are Dell's proprietary variants?

I'm not sure about the mainboard, but it is some type of custom alienware OEM board because it's branded all over with the alien head.

What I meant was the actual configuration of the power supply on both ends of the plug. Meaning, does a retail regular bought power supply plugged into it = fire? Apparently they kept the same physical plugs, but changed the pinout. So it can be hard to tell.
