(Filco) otaku keycaps
« on: Fri, 29 April 2011, 16:26:03 »
Hi,

was just wondering if the blank keycaps they sell at the keyboard company are just 'normal' filco keycaps without the printing or if they are thicker, i.e. more solid.

Is there any other company that sells blank keycaps (for mechanical boards), especially in Europe? 'Cause I only need 88 of them and not a whole bunch of 105.

I know a custom made set for an alternative layout would be
:jaw:
but at the same time not even close to be payable... I know where my letters are but the little special characters spread over the 6 different layers are hard to remind.

Any suggestions?

Is there a nice and easy way to get the printing off the filco keykaps that does not include sanding them?
