I am huge fan of Diablo series, and has been waiting for D3 for...ages...
I just cannot agree more when I see some Youtube comments saying he will just quit his job for Diablo 3. I just know how that feels... although I wouldn't quit my job for it... or..  maybe...
Damn I have not been doing my work properly these days playing SC2 and doing other stuff,
but just cannot wait for D3..
At one time, I saw this D3 trailer of PvE and PvP, I lost my mind after I watched it.
I got crazy for hours.. Like thinking I really gotta play this. I will give up anything for it lol

For a short period of time, I was actually worrying that WoW makers were the part of the developers of D3.. I saw this trailer that really looked like WoW too.
I don't hate WoW but it's just very different style from Diablo. And that's what differentiates between those two.
The atmosphere you know. The feel of it.
Then I saw this recorded (probably illegal) on YouTube, and it really looked like Diablo, meaning the atmosphere was there!!
Maybe it was because the quality of the video was quite bad, and it really kinda looked like Diablo 2 graphics, but no matter it had the Diablo feel of it!!

Damn... I am gonna play so hard when it comes out.
I am gonna play day and night.. finish one character one by one..

Of course. I was surprised by Torchlight actually about how similar it is to D3. They are very fun games indeed, but I keep coming back to D2. I currently started Barbar again at East. I decided not to play D2 anymore with goal. With goal I mean what you are going to get, to do, skill points, a very objective character. I just decided to have fun with this character.
I think that's the beauty of Diablo series. You can make your character very one sided or any just how you want it. Blizzard makes very fine games!

I can't even explain how badly I want d3 to be released. All the games I've played in the past 2 years have simply been a stop-gap waiting for d3 to be released. I've played ALL of the similar games out there and finished them, along with expansions/dlc etc. It's just not the same.

I heard Diablo 3 beta is coming this summer! Blizzard has confirmed Beta is coming 6 month prior to release just like SC2. They want to release the game before December or before 2011 ends.
Or at very early 2012. But I guess we can play before the world ends

I read something about some conspiracy **** on the release date on teamliquid. It said something about it being released the day the first Diablo came out the website for d3 goes down on the same date as well. Heres the website info or whatever. http://who.is/whois/diablo3.com/

Implying that you can't mod Diablo? I know for sure that modding D2 was no problem.

Waiting for D3, but so far I'm not sure if I like what I see. D3 seems lacking in atmosphere compared to D2 from what I've seen. No, this isn't the old "they should've stuck to the old one" thing all over again. I understand that they want to move forward and make a new game, not just a fancier D2, but that doesn't make the current direction right because it's different from the old one.

But I will be getting on the release day if I can and see how it turns out, D2 was, and still is, a fantastic game. Hopefully D3 will be a worthy successor.
