Well, she didn't disclose she owned Maltron right from the beginning. Basically she sent me an email saying that she would pay me 35 for the keyboard because:
1). That is all they ever sell for second hand.
2). New ones only sell for 50 (obviously not through Maltron).
3). They could only be repaired through Maltron?!?!
I then sent her a polite, yet quite firm email back saying I didn't want to sell it for that much (it kinda annoys me when people tell me how much I am going to sell them something for). I suggested that recently the same model was advertised on ebay.co.uk for 90 and 149GBP. I suggested that I wasn't in a rush to sell it. I also said that these keyboards were just as robust as any other mechanical keyboard and that I (as could anyone else) most certainly could repair this keyboard if I needed to with a soldering iron and a little patience.
After about 5 mins I then go a really angry reply saying that:
1). She had owned Maltron for 20 years and I didn't have a clue what I was talking about.
2). I was a clown (LOL).
3). That there was no point in me replying to her as she would delete the mail without reading it.
4). She was sick of people claiming these from work (on some kind of disability) and then selling them on ebay to make a small profit.
WTF?!?! Random or what? Obviously I didn't bother replying; although I did toy around with a couple of sarcastic memes but I thought better.
Odd, don't you think?
