Xarmor Gone?

I'm interested in getting up and coming Xarmor keyboard but I hear they're not making anymore Xarmor keyboards.  Instead Ione will just make other keyboards like blackwidow.  Is it true?  If so that would mean the only keyboard with macros avail is the BW?  I'm hoping another company fills that void.

Well if u live in the EU u can buy the Qpad Mk 80, its the same board just rebranded.

The Leopold designer said Filco was "in trouble" and then they introduce a boatload of new products.

BTW I don't know WHO the Razer BlackWidow is made by because Razer Black Widow owners are GIRLY MEN!!!  They don't take pics of Enter key stabilizers or pop open their Razers to figure out who makes them.

If they're made like the XArmor, I would be scared too. Too many wires meshed with the screw threads. You can cut a wire while screwing/unscrewing the cover.

I already said many times.

Thanks god is very likely that Xarmor is not made by the same OEM who made the razer keyboards.

Other than the keycaps and stabilizers there isn't a single shared piece in the two boards.

Not really an act of fanboysm being BW a greatly inferior product.

BTW I'm curious to see an opened mionix, although what the mionix's rep said here,  that keyboard still look too similar to Xarmor in more than one detail.

I just stole one of Solutor's XArmor pic.


On the XArmor, the upper right, the controller is exposed.
While on the BWU it seams to be under the metal plate.

On a side note, I doubt XArmors die, iOne will probably rebrand em, change logo and lunch YArmor or something.
Also, I doubt Razer has anything to do with iOne :S just my personal opinion

This is a retrofitted prevision

The keyboard is already available in 4 different branding Xarmor, tessoro, qpad and qtronix.

Who cares about the Xarmor brand itself

The only thing I hate about my Xarmor is the stabilizers and keycaps, so I hope if the true OEM's of the X-armor boards are going to toss anything, they toss any similarity to the black widows. I want double-shot transparent keycaps with bulletproof stabilizers- then X-armor is the ultimate backlit gaming board.

They might also want to get a better customer relations team as well.

Sometimes you can take it back to the store. only retail outlet that carries it in my area is Best buy and after we got upgraded to territory 1, our store is ruled by nazis

BucklingSpring knows perfectly that returning a BW is almost an impossible move for many users, we discussed it just a copule of days ago.

Not volatile, I got trained to think the American way. Since I live in North America, I believe it's the center of the word and all humans are revolving around it. Although in Canada we are considered a bit off center, we can still replace BWU's at will. ;-)

The city I live in (population of only 330k) has two Best-Buys, 10-15 minutes apart, and they both have BW's in stock.  Sure they're overpriced, but they're there.

Solutuor was referring to the rest of the world. Razer seams to have a good load of retailers in North America.
They are mostly mail order for every where else.
