Has anyone has any experience importing one of these? Do you get charged a lot of tax? Because on geek stuff 4 u they say that it is mostly a gamble* as to whether you do or not? ta

If the seller does what they're supposed to, it's likely you'll pay import taxes.  It depends on various factors (details on the HMRC pages).  When I bought my Unicomp last year, I ended up paying £80 total for an $80 keyboard.  That included shipping and import charges.  In years past, some stuff I've bought has passed through without any attention, but most items of any value these days get snagged.  As an estimate you can add the UK 20% VAT rate to it, not forgetting shipping, and then a handling charge of a few pounds this end too.

No trouble.  If you do go ahead and buy one, I'd be interested to know what the final damage is - every so often I look at those and wonder...
