Currently at $15.50, will likely hit the 400 mark right before it ends.

Btw, I thought the blue label Savers were manufactured by Lexmark?

My Model M has a blue label (and a Lexmark Part Number), and it still says it was Manufactured by IBM.

Haha, for a sec I thought this might go under the radar and I'd be able to snipe it. I turn around for 15 minutes and it's already $120+. Ahh, too good to be true I guess.

@BaconKnight

You have to hope that it doesn't show up here. It's pretty much as simple as that.

I know I paid way too much.  But it is NIB, and last week one NIB went for over $400.  Then I gave myself excuse that since I couldn't buy a Realforce 87U and Amazon doesn't have any Filco Red, I could spend the money on this spacesaver.

I wonder what is the best way to track down these hard to find IBM keyboards locally for $20!

Now allow me to go get myself a Cup Noodle for lunch.  And for the next month!

Well, congratulations!! You were willing to spend more than I did. I thought I might get lucky with $305. I would have lost to somebody that bid $345 anyway. I think it's a good price if you got it for less than $400. Enjoy... Now you can call yourself a serious collector.

Thanks mmmty.  There were 3 of us tried to snipe it with seconds left.  That was exciting!  I tried to get the one from yesterday, too, but all I did was made the winner paid $50 more...  I felt bad for jacking up the price.

So next time, there may still be bid competitions.

lol, if you have a conscious you might not be cut out for sniping.  Congrats on the keyboard though, I aspire to be part of the IMB Mini club.

Don't feel guilty for jacking up the price for the winner if you were both sniping. He doesn't feel guilty for taking the keyboard away from you.

BTW, if you're buying a NIB Mini for $400, are you just storing it, or are you actually using it? As soon as you use it it's not NIB anymore, it's UIB and worth much less, right? Are you buying NIB because you want to use the hell out of it for the rest of your life?

Or do we acknowledge that NIB is a lie and it really just means "clean, functional, and comes with the original box"?

I was planning to somehow frame it in glass case and put it on the wall : )

Nah, I'd probably use it. Or put it back on Ebay and sell it for profit.

I bought it NIB only because there isn't anything else, used or NIB.  The  other one that is available now is missing a lot of key caps.

I think when I receive it I will take it out, play with it and test out all the keys, and then put it back in the box. :)  I think I like Topre better.  But currently typing on a Kinesis Advantage because it is better for my wrists.

If I snipe and lose, I enjoy the fact that I made the winner pay more.

I don't think all winners are smart.

There are times when I'm the only other bidder, and I bid for no reason but to raise the price. I really wouldn't call that irrelevant.

Received the space saver this morning.  Looks brand new.  Opened it up, no dirt in the keyboard.  A couple rivets came off, but that's it.  It has single-piece keycaps, not two-piece.  I ordered 2 sets of RGB Shift/Ctrl/Alt for my space saver and regular Model M.  I wonder if Unicomp's red/green Ctrl and Alt caps come with stems or not.  If they don't I will have to buy replacement stems to use Unicomp's keycaps.

The caps come with stems. Red and blue are two-piece. Green is single-piece.

Thanks snerual.  That's good to know.  I won't need anything extra then.  At this time, I think I will play with it for a bit and then put it back into the box to keep it as a collector's item :)
