A new European retailer of Filco keyboards
« on: Sat, 28 May 2011, 02:48:27 »
A Finnish etailer Silent Rig has reached an agreement to start selling Filco keyboards, availability from June 2011 onwards. The 'boards will be added to their online shopping system (seemingly only in Finnish for now?) "within the next few days". Personally, I expect their prices to be a fair bit lower than Keyboardco's.

Just a FYI/heads up.

If it will be cheaper then I guess it will be the place I'll order it.

Awesome, do they ship outside of Finland or will I have to force a finnish friend to order it and send it forward?

Maybe, in Belgium we also got a retailer, which is 20€ (+-35$) more expensive then KC, and 27 euros for red switches.

I hope they ship to South America, and the price isn't high enough to make me go with TKC :(

i like TKC, the service is excellent, and if you pay around 180$ ro more for a keyboard...10-20$ is not gonna make such a big difference...
having a new competitor is always a good thing btw, but i will stay with TKC...also cuz i don't really understand finnish lol

Keyboard co sells most of the filco boards for 114 £, that at the actual change are 128 €, and consider that GBP is very low in these days, with the usual change the price of keyb co would be way more expensive.

KeyboardCo seels them for £114, which is 128,28€, only 3,5€ cheaper. For people living in Finland, the 131.80eur cost fom SilentRig ends up being cheaper due to lesser shipping costs.
