[WTT] Dark Topre keycaps for lighter colour
« on: Mon, 20 June 2011, 17:17:04 »
I have a Topre 87U with the dark keys - basically black labelling on dark gray plastic and I would really like to have a higher contrast set (white or anything else). I am wondering if anyone is interested in a keycap swap? Could be the whole set or just the alphas or something in between (I mostly want higher contrast alphas to facilitate my typing accuracy!)

This thread was originally used for a sale - but i am bumping for a new use instead of creating a new one.

HFMDE and LFMDE are cherry product codes. Doubleshots are a type of keycap, made by a process called injection molding, you can read about it more in the getting started wiki here on GH.

The g80-3000 are full size, the g80-1800 is actually a more compact layout, which still retains the numpad, albeit in a smart way to save space.
here is a pic showing a 3000 and an 1800 side by side:

a quick note...the 1800 theoretically has blacks, but I could switch the switches for blues from my numerous g80 donor boards.

I should have added details - I am in the UK and this is an ANSI set.  Keys look quite new to me - I don't have a set here to compare them to, but I don't see any obvious signs of wear.
