Looking around for the last half hour it seems that way.  Thought I'd come ask the guys on top of this stuff, though.  I'm not a fan of the "Ninja" key-printing and would prefer either a standard 10 keyless filco with browns, or an "Otaku" version - have seen a few links to such a product but they are a yaer or two old now and I can't find a vendor for either of my preferences here.  Anyone have the skinny?  It's bothering me enough that I'm considering just going for a Leopold instead, even though I'm willing to spend the extra money for the Filco here.

Any other input of course is welcomed.  Hi geekhack users :o

Oh and if anyone knows a significantly better deal than the at least $140-150 I may be paying to amazon, would you please share?  Saving money would be nice (:

Welcome to Geekhack and try here.  That seller is also a member here so you can pm him if you have any question.  I bought a different board from him and the shipping was pretty quick.

Also if you want Otaku look just look for a blank set of key caps by Filco.  I believe those are still around.

Good luck. =)

Thanks reaper.  That is exactly what I want.  However, the price range for that listing, esp after shipping, is not within my own anymore \=   Buying a new set of keycaps and a key lifter also pushes the price range back out too far for me :(  Starting to lean toward a leopold but I'm gonna wait a bit longer and keep looking around.

^ No problem and does it absolutely has to be brown?  There's a tenkeyless w/ blue for $120 + shipping here.  A blank set of key caps (Otaku) should be around $32 + shipping from KeyboardCo and a key puller..  well, if I had an extra one I'd just give it to you.

Yeah I think so @ brown.  The sound really does worry me as it is going brown, with my living arrangement.  Would you mind voicing reasons against my just settling for a leopold at this point?  It's pretty easy to compromise for with the price difference in play, but I'd like to be more aware than not over what I'm really giving up in trying that instead of the filco.

LumiGaming . . . I basically had the same question as your original one.  Bruce from The Keyboard Company responded in the vendor forum that a new shipment of non-ninja filco majestouch 2s (tenkeyless, brown) is on its way and the boards should be on amazon in about 2 weeks.

Aside from their non-standard space bar and occasional squeaky sound coming from the left shift key and sometimes the enter key (on mine) then nope.  There's nothing wrong with the Leopold.
